Infobase is a place where you can store information about your company that can be referenced and used to improve the quality of content generation. So, instead of generative AI software getting you 60-80% of the way, it can get even closer to 100%.

AI models are trained on public data. So, if you wanted to generate powerful and accurate generated content around things like:
Well, it’s not going to have all of the context it needs to write great content, but rather you’ll get a generic response back.
Today, you’re still able to provide that context but you’d have to repeatedly write all of the context the AI would need to write great content. And, just like you, we hate repeatable processes that aren’t automated.
Infobase is a place for you to save all of that information, give it a tag, and then only have to reference that specific tag in Chat or Workflows without having to manually type that information every time.

Getting started with Infobase is easy. Let’s walk through how to get it set up so you and your team can start using it. Infobase is available for both our Chat and Workflows products.
To start, log into Copy.ai and select Infobase from the left hand menu:
Once you’re in Infobase, you can start to include relevant information that you’ll want to reuse. You'll have up to 10mb of content per item added to Infobase. For example, you can write 2,000 words and upload documents, so long as the total size of your input is limited to 10mb total.
When it comes to Infobase entries, here are some ideas to get you started:
One thing to note is that within Infobase, you can also input things as lists. While they look like long sentences in the table, they’re not inputted that way:
Now that you’ve got your Infobase filled out, it’s time to put it in action.
As you use Chat or Workflows, you’ll be able to reference and pull the different inputs you’ve just put into Infobase. Simply just write a “#” and select the information you want Copy.ai to reference when generating content.
